We are so glad you are interested in making Peace Lutheran your church home. The first step in finding real peace starts with a conversation. Whether you are new to your faith or have been a Christian for years, we would love to sit down with you. Our Pastor would love to hear from you, hear your story and answer any questions you may have. 

Path toward Membership

Everyone's journey to faith is unique just as God designed us. There are different paths you may take to join our church family.  

Baptism
Baptism unites people with Jesus in his death and resurrection. Baptism washes away sins and give people the gift of the Holy Spirit. For those who have not yet been baptized, this precious gift of God is a beautiful way to enter into God's Family. Baptism provides real blessings. For that, we thank God.
Youth Confirmation
Confirmation is intended to give those who have received basic instruction in the truths of God’s Word the opportunity publicly to confess their faith before the church. The rite informs the congregation that these catechumens have sufficient scriptural understanding and spiritual maturity to partake of the Lord’s Supper. Children in grades 7 and 8 will typically join through Confirmation classes.
Adults
Most adults will start their path by going through our Peace 101. Through this course you will deepen your understanding of the basic truths of the Bible. This course in an introductory course for all those who are seeking to join our church family at Peace. 
Transfer of Membership
If you are a current member from a sister congregation, we would love to facilitate a letter of transfer to Peace.
