(A Sermon Based on 1 Cor. 15:50-58)

There’s a powerful image in this verse of an immovable person. You can just see it. There is this person Paul describes who stands their ground while hurricane level winds attempt to pry them loose from their secure position. There is, however, a great Christian irony that often comes attached to that image. This sermon examines that irony and seeks to leave the listener standing firmer than ever before.
